The Professional Photographers of West Virginia (PPWV) is a vibrant and inclusive non-profit association dedicated to the advancement of photography as both an art and a profession within the Mountain State. Affiliated with the Professional Photographers of America (PPA), our organization strives to serve as a central hub for professional development, networking, and education opportunities for photographers across various specialties. 

We are committed to providing our members with the resources and tools they need to succeed in their careers, from workshops and training sessions to networking events and industry connections. Each year, we hold two large gatherings, our Fall Seminar and our Spring Convention, which provide our members, supporters, and friends the opportunity to gather together to learn, share, and honor our craft.

Whether you specialize in weddings, newborns, studio portraits, on-location portraits, commercial imagery, photojournalism, sports portraits or sports action, landscapes or nature, or any other genre of photography, or even a little bit of all the above, you have a home and a family waiting for you with PPWV!
